Welcome to class Hillary!
The teachers in our class are Mrs Hegg and Mrs Roy and our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Graham and Miss Modrzejewska There are 12 Pupils in our KS3 class, we are a mix of year 7, 8 and 9 pupils.
This term we will be learning about the Shakespeare play The Tempest in English we have been learning the story, retelling the story in our own words and learning to up level our sentences by putting exciting words into them. We will be learning about Measurement in Maths including length, volume and time. In Art we will be learning about African art. We will explore different patterns and recreate patterns using a variety of different materials.
We have been going for weekly trips to Manchester Dogs Home as part of our work related learning. We have enjoyed meeting the dogs and taking them for walks as well as learning why it’s important to look after animals.
We enjoy our super learning days and have enjoyed our recent one about global awareness. Together we have made a pledge that as a class we will use soap instead of shower gel to help lower our use of plastic.
