March 2019

Parents/ friends/ Governors,

As we get close to the last week of term and we have lots of Easter bonnets appearing in school for our assembly on Friday. Families are welcome to join us at 1.30p.m. for the final assembly of the term on Friday 5th April 2019.

As the weather is becoming a little warmer we are starting to prepare our allotment for growing plants and vegetables after the break. Our focus for this term has been on developing pupils’ writing skills through Talk for writing. Staff have attended training and pupils are working very hard in lessons. Our 6th form students continue to work very hard in their work based placements. We have a new link with Hulme Garden Centre of our Key Stage 4 pupils.  We have created a loan service for prom wear that we are offering to any pupil and their family in North Manchester who would like to use the service.

Next term we will be offering you the opportunity to join us for our annual consultation tea party on Friday 3rd May 2019 at 1.30p.m.

The Easter holiday scheme runs for 4 days in the first week of the holidays. Places have now been allocated.

School breaks up on Friday 5th April 2019 and pupils return on Tuesday 23rd April 2019.

Wishing you all a good Easter break

Bernice Kostick
