Welcome to North Ridge High School...

We are a school that meets the diverse special educational needs of pupils between the ages of 11 and 19 and a specialist support school.

I am very proud to lead this developing and successful school. We have a thriving, challenging, calm and happy environment where our pupils strive to do their best educationally, emotionally and socially in our supportive and caring learning environment.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates:

Our latest School Closure Guidance:

This week we began to increase the number of pupils attending school. We have planned this to be as safe as possible with a detailed risk assessment approved by the Governing Body and  Manchester Local Authority. All staff have attended a training session prior to pupils returning.

We have included on our website resources for families to use with their children to discuss returning to school. Initially we are offering days to families that said they wanted their child to have time in school before the summer break. If any parents or carers now feel ready to reconsider their decision then please contact school.
