Welcome to class Matterhorn!

 

Our teacher is Mr McManus and we have 2 teaching assistants. There are 11 pupils in our Key stage 3 class, we are a mix of year 7, year 8 and year 9 pupils.

 

 

Information about what our pupils work towards and the learning they access:

In Class Matterhorn, our students will begin to develop their independence through activities completed in class. Students will access a broad curriculum and will access lessons as part of core subjects, including Maths and English lessons. Students will also access foundation topics, such as PE, Music and Humanities.

During the year, students will have the opportunity to access swimming as part of their DT curriculum and students will also access a Work Related Learning programme during which, students will explore job roles and visit a work place setting in their local community.
