Breakfast Club and After School Club

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is available to families who require support with an early school drop off.

Breakfast Club runs from 8:30 in the main school hall and provides a breakfast for students alongside sports, craft and social activities.

Letters for Breakfast Club applications are sent out twice a year.

After School Club

Our After School Club runs every Tuesday until 5 pm and is offered to all students at North Ridge High School.

After school club runs in two groups of 17 weeks.

After School club is a fun, relaxed environment where students are able to socialise and join in a wide variety of activities which are designed to develop personal and social skills.

Students can choose from activities such as:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Sports and Games
  • Gardening
  • Cooking and Baking
  • Pottery
  • Reading
  • Music
  • Sensory Activities
  • Play Station

Most of our activities are themed to tie in with events in the calendar such as Remembrance Day, Diwali and Christmas.

We also aim to offer new and exciting trips such as Ice Skating, and we have recently been on a walk to see the bees in the city centre.  We also have outside visitors and a famous Pizza Party!
Students who attend After School Club consult with staff at the beginning of the year and tell staff what they want at their club. It is important for us that the needs of the children are met and that their right to a choice is honoured.
