North Ridge High School has completed the three stage Inspiring IAG Award and has now achieved the Quality in Careers Standard. The Quality in Careers Standard is the single national quality award for careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) in schools, colleges and work-based learning. QiCs Certificate
We work with Career Connect, a Matrix approved organisation which provides quality independent careers advice, bridging the gap to learning and employment and better life chances for young people and adults.
Career Connect offers our students:
- Impartial Careers advice
- Advice and support to apply for college courses
- Advice and support to apply for apprenticeships, traineeships, supported Internships and volunteer work
- Job-searching
- CVs, job applications and interview preparation
- Information and advice on local, training opportunities (paid and unpaid)
