Welcome to North Ridge High School...

We are a school that meets the diverse special educational needs of pupils between the ages of 11 and 19 and a specialist support school.

I am very proud to lead this developing and successful school. We have a thriving, challenging, calm and happy environment where our pupils strive to do their best educationally, emotionally and socially in our supportive and caring learning environment.

Statutory Proposal for a Prescribed Alteration to North Ridge School

The Local Authority are currently consulting on the permanent change of North Ridge roll to 200 places now that we have the new sixth form building. The full detail of the consultation is outlined in the letter. This will mean that the needs of pupils in the North can be fully met and we have created a purpose built sixth form centre that provides great opportunities including vocational learning on site.

I am therefore asking you to support the consultation by responding to the email address listed below.

Publication of the Statutory Notice and How to make comments and views.

Within four weeks from the date of publication of this proposal (by 26 July 2021) any person may object to, or make comments on the proposal by sending their representations to:

school.organisation@manchester.gov.uk

Any comments received during this period will be compiled and included as part of the report to be considered for determination.

Please do respond. For further information please read the letter.

Many thanks for your support.
