You may not know this, but North Ridge has its own radio station. NRR (North Ridge Radio)!!! 

 

Three times a week, students will take it in turns to pick songs, tell jokes, talk about things they like, sing their own songs and have fun. The students take control and create their own programs. We have had stories, live music and even an interview.  

 

The radio is broadcast to the classrooms of the school, the 6th form Hub, and the corridors of the school. It has been fantastic watching the students gain confidence and learn new communication skills doing the shows.  

 

This year we’ll be looking for more of the same as well as some new features.
