The SEND Local Offer offers information in a single place. The Local Offer helps children, young people and their parents to understand what services and support they can expect from a range of local agencies – including their statutory entitlements.

Our core offer

North Ridge High School work with mainstream schools in North Manchester to support the inclusion of pupils with Special Educational Needs and /or Disabilities (SEND), often providing advice, support and training to schools in meeting the needs of pupils.

 

 

Targeted offer

Specialist/Bespoke training tailored to meet individual or small group needs for both pupils or staff can be delivered or accessed. Topics of bespoke/specialist training include:

 

-Behavior (ASD specific)

-Guided reading/sensory stories.

-Assessment using B-squared/Classroom Monitor

-Positive Handling

-Differentiation and teaching strategies for pupils with learning difficulties

-Social Stories

-Teaching pupils with ASC
