This school year, we’ve introduced a new sensory structured curriculum designed to support the unique learning needs of pupils with complex profiles. The curriculum uses multi-sensory experiences — such as sound, texture, movement, and light — to help children engage, communicate, and regulate more effectively.

Each activity is carefully planned to align with your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes, ensuring that learning is both meaningful and personalised. We’ve already seen wonderful progress in areas like expressive communication, emotional regulation, and sustained attention.

To support this, our team has received specialist training and ongoing coaching to deliver sensory learning consistently and confidently. We’re also using new tools to track how your child responds to different sensory inputs, helping us refine our approach and celebrate every small step forward.
